Volvo Penta MD-7 Marine Diesel Engine with Transmission (Redondo Beach

Engine totally rebuilt in 2007 (approximately 40-50 hours ago). Smokes, but starts every time (white smoke). Re-powering with newer engine someone gave me a terrific deal on, so getting rid of this one, but this 1 works great. Just motored all the way to the Channel Islands (13 hours straight) and no problems (0.66 gal/hr). Motored for 6 hours back, again, starts every time, no problem. Needs alternator, but other than that, this is a good engine for any sailboat 27-34ft. Come by and hear her run. You can find a new alternator for about $100, so no big deal. Engine still in boat, so if you want to test the engine, come on by... Transmission included in the price. Panel with key. $850.
